BIO PHOTO FESTIVAL CORDOVADO, VALVASONE, PORDENONE AND WINE TASTING

Arrival in Budoia and meeting with the tour guide for the visit of the old medieval village Cordovado, with its castle, the ancient S. Andrea parish church area, the 1600’s Sanctuary of the Madonna and the convent of the Dominican fathers. The tour will continue with the visit of Valvasone, a small town that lies on the right side of the Tagliamento river, rich in historical memories. The magnificent Medieval Castle and its ancient center with arched roof houses are a must see, along with the medieval and renaissance buildings, the square in renaissance style, the antique XV cent. water mill with wheel, narrow streets, sundials and wells. The trip will continue with the visit of the beautiful local winery; light dinner and Friulian wines tasting. After the light dinner Visit of Pordenone, a charming town with one of the longest archways in Northern Italy, the ancient “Corso Vittorio Emanuele”, rich of frescoes and palaces built in different historical periods. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight accommodation.
